Your first life: the basics
Aging up, the stats that run your life, the apps on your phone, and why a choice at 8 can come back at 40.
One tap, one year
- Age up moves you forward one year. Every life starts in 2026, and the news, elections and charts all show real years.
- Life stages: baby, pre-primary, primary, middle school, high school, young adult, adult, old age. Events are filtered by stage.
Your stats
- Four core stats, each 0–100: Health, Happiness, Intelligence (shown as "Smarts") and Looks. Money is tracked separately.
Your phone
- You act through apps: JobFinder, Tender, MedPal, Instants, LearnLab, AppCash, HobbyHub, Wanderer, Amazing, HomeBase, Investify, Vibe, NewsNow, Spotterfly, BizBoard and Politrix. Young children get Playtime instead; it disappears on the sixth birthday.
- The game has a tutorial: an intro, four coach marks and a "Next step" suggestion. Replay the tips from How to Play in Profile.
When it ends
- Death always names a real cause, and the death screen tells your life story. If you made a will, it decides who gets what. Then you can carry on as one of your children (see "Carrying on as your kid").
